Supply Chain Analyst / Material Planner
Our client a MNC is currently seeking suitable candidates for the position Supply Chain Analyst / Material Planner.
Supply Chain Analyst
Responsibilities:
Liaise with supplier to provide front-line and analytical support to global EMS customers
Analyzes customer forecasts for materials to determine feasibility of forecasted requirements
Prepares forecast models reflective of customer requirements
Monitors inventory pipeline to ensure assigned customer base receives inventory on time. Ensure profitability and service levels for assigned customer engagements are adhered to and met
Rationalize forecast upside and reduction determine feasibility of forecasted requirements and plan for materials accordingly
Understand and ensure maximum Forecast Accuracy is met every month through proper forecasting and inventory management versus forecast benchmarks
Monitor high and low consumption of devices and ensure accurate material accountability.
Ensure commits are in line and expedite materials according to production needs
Coordinate shipments to ensure availability of finished products to meet customer orders and to expedite materials in short supply
Coordinate with supplier and customer on Quality RMA, material review board and any visual mechanical complaints on devices
Ensure alignments and meeting the supply chain objectives (KPIs), maintain & increase supply chain competencies & capabilities
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management with minimum of three years supply chain experience
Knowledge of Manugistics, SAP, EDI, GDW, and/or associated supply chain/requirements planning tools.
Advanced skill in utilizing Microsoft Office products, experience with Microsoft Access preferred
Material Planner
Responsibilities:
Purchase ordering, price gating and follow-up on schedule update
To plan, execute materials requirements to Suppliers and analyze requirements and reschedule plans
Monitor inventory, review PO backlog and generate reports
Co-ordinate with Customer Service on sales order status; arrange shipment and ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
Diploma holder with at least 2 years of related experience in the Electronics industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
SAP knowledge
Good communication and written skills in English and Mandarin
