Magento Expert Required for Custom Affiliate Website

I have an affiliate website currently running on WordPress as its CMS.
I now wish to further extend this site to include an XML powered eCommerce cataloguing system (without a shopping cart module). This catalogue of products would link to merchant sites rather than a shopping cart.

At the moment I have CSV & XML data feeds from about 10 merchants (similarly structured but not identical). I reckon there are about 40,000+ product records in all 10 data feeds.

Magento is the eCommerce platform that is top of my preference.

I wish to exclusively integrate each of the 10 XML data feeds with Magento’s cataloguing system.

In addition to integrating the data feeds with my site using Magento, I would also like to create some rules that would uniquely wrap the listings from each XML data feed with custom text.

I would also like to integrate the listings of each XML datafeed with Coupons/Voucher Codes that would be managed from an Admin area.

Some other modules I would consider including are:

- Product comparison
- Product reviews

Challenges of the Project

Server performance – my site is on a shared hosting (Media Temple’s Grid Service (gs) package) at the moment and I do not think I can justify a dedicated server for the site at the moment.

Voucher Code integration across the entire catalogue based on the Merchant’s name

Search Engine Friendly – we would need to incorporate On-Page SEO when deploying the website.

Because the main feature we are after in Magento is it’s cataloguing module, we might need to strip down alot of the memory intensive features from Magento (such as security) to improve performance.

We would need to design the template in-line with the template of the current site.
